Rod Bearing
How do I tell my rod bearing size? Is it + .10? This is from a 1950 8BA V8

On a separate note pulled the pan and a shop rag was sucked on the oil pump screen, Red Neck oil filter?! Oil pressure was still good, amazing.

Do you have a pic of the other end of the bearing ?
That is date stamped 1955 so someone has been in there .

0BA-D is a .020" undersize bearing, according to the Ford parts catalog. It's commonly called "20 under".

This is the Rod End cap. The other bearing half says the same thing as the first bearing half.

Mic the crank, that's the only way to determine the journal size you have.
