i have a 1995 supercab with power door locks. the driver's side lock has a spinning noise when actuated, and does not work. the passenger side works fine. i have pulled the door panel off to see if something had come loose...but i can't even get to the lock motor...my question is, could something have come loose..or..is the actuator motor itself worn out??? any help is appreciated.

 

I know exactly whats wrong, u have a stripped gear, the mothor sounds like its fine.

 

thanks for the reply, noremac...where is the gear your talking about? i did have to replace a window motor gear one time. it was quite a job...
