I have a 1977 f250 ranger it might be hard to see but I have a light behind the door on each side of the cab, I’ve been into these trucks for many years and I’ve never seen these before on them or even know what to call them. I’ve been trying to find new ones online but I’m not really finding anything. Does anybody have any idea what I would call these lights so I can fine them online? I’m almost certain they are stock but I could be wrong. Thanks

Not original, added by a previous owner, but from what? 1984 and later Crown Vic 4 door sedans had a similar lamp on the B pillar between the front and rear doors.
X2 NOT OEM, how about a detailed pic of the light? Do they come on with your 1st position headlight switch "park/running lights" on? Loving the hurricane fin 16.5 rims and the HUMVEE 37's.
Sorry I’m at work I can’t take better pics so I’ll just zoom in on older ones. But they don’t work at all, I bought this truck a few years ago while I was in the military from some high school kid who jimmy rigged everything so I’ve been busy focusing on other things on the truck so I haven’t really payed attention to them till the other day at work when I started thinking about it but I assume they’d turn on when I pull the light switch if they’d work. They’ve been on the pillar for a while and they’re both cracked up and everything and look pretty old so I just couldn’t tell if they were stock or some just put them on years ago
Yes not "stock" for sure. AT least no light was put there from the factory that I have ever seen. But you have a bed side tool box and personality in the passenger side door. So I do not really even see them. lol You know that when folks but those grab handles on the B pillar they cab be a rust magnet for your cab corner for sure.
Might stop by a large truck, truck stop and see what they have on the shelf? Maybe get some rear facing light emoting ones and wire to you reverse lights?
And yeah didn’t like the wheels at first but they’re growing on me. Eventually I wanna get them painted black cuz I wanna go with a black and blue theme and fix the few rust holes on the body and get the center of the panels painted black and top and bottom redone blue
Yeah I’ve seen the grab handles. But the interior side of the pillar there is a hole where a speaker should go and you can see the spot where the lights are from the inside and surprisingly there isn’t any rust but yeah I guess I’ll have to look around online harder or a truck or junkyard. Thanks guys
On those ALUMINIUM wheels....1. Steel lug nuts on a soft alum rim ='s famous for loosening up on there own. 2. Aluminium wheel can corrode/steel hub rust and almost weld themselves the steel hub. I always put a very light coat of anti-siez on the back side of the rim. 3. Do you have flat faced washers under the (none acorn type) lug nut? Or are they the long shank go inside the rim lug nuts? Also since they have a thicker center area, some times people change out the lug studs for bigger and longer ones so they can ditch the shank style lug nuts. A good cleaning does wonders. And so does a custom paint scheme.
If you have any lug nut issues ck this out. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post14696886
Check out the all in one, center, 3 light, cab light for newer rigs. Might be a cool mod? I am looking for that stuff that comes highly recommended to spray and hose wash off and make them rims come alive. Or....
