Yeah - Island Pond gets its share of flatlanders. So does the whole friggin state. I'll let my politics stop there. Anyways, our camp is there, both my folks were born and raised there, and family....which is getting to be less and less and the years continue by.
Not much reason to stay in this state. Snowmobiling and family are the top ones. Snowmobiling is getting harder to keep going with land being subdivided all the time. Wouldn't surprise me if in 8-10 years there will not be interconnected trails in the state but only be separated areas to ride.
I was busy this afternoon. I borrowed a friend's trailer to haul off the junk 03 ranger that I took the engine from. I used my Dad's tractor to push it on. Little sketchy especially since the trailer was on a decline. No issues though. Trailer is big, 14000lb 24'. Makes the ranger look small. I pulled the wheels and loaded it with scrap. It was dark after I finished so no pictures but will tomorrow morning. Here is when I first got it on
