When the generator runs........ the battery smart charging system is powered and starts charging the batteries.....
I also have a separate/isolated starting battery for the generator. I can start the generator even if the "house" battery bank is too low. I have a small smart battery charger just for the starting battery that is powered anytime the generator runs or I am hooked to shore power.

Next..... I want to put a solar power system on the Montana. I also want to get rid of the lead/acid batteries and go Lithium......

Where we camp in Montana is $0 per night of at most $8 per night.......

I've never been to a camp ground so had no idea what they charged ..too much from what I see..

We have a Vet appointment for Lynn's Cat late this morning........
