Shift Module Location Electric Shift 4x4?

Shift Module Location Electric Shift 4x4?
1994 F150 Regular Cab 4x4 5.0
I am trying to use this write up: 1989 Ford Truck F 250 4WD Pickup V8-460 7.5L - Diagnosis of the Electric Shift 4 X 4
to diagnose why I have a "dead 4x4 system" I can l manually put it in 4x4 and it drives fine in 4x4 so I'm figuring the Tcase electric/ lockouts and such work. However I can't seem to find the shift control module to start testing on. Any help?
