1977 c6 need help
Okay so I have a 1977 Ford F-250 4x4 300 i6 with a 4 speed transmission I use it as my daily and my gf tried to drive it and I’ve now gone through 3 clutches in a stupid amount of time I’m going to put an automatic in it can I use a c6 4x4 from a 1996 f250???

depends on the engine if I read it right 300 six you will have to use a small block c6 as it has the same bell housing pattern or a c4. It would be way easier to teach her how to drive it!!!!!

and the 96 probably has electronic shift control

Easier to find a gf that knows her way around a stick than to play with trannys. Lol
