This morning after I got to work, I was sitting in my truck letting it cool down before shut-off and I noticed that the VGT was sitting commanded @ 85% for over 3 minutes straight. My understanding is that anything over 15 seconds indicates a problem. Any insight? My "EGR error" line was also reading high, not really sure what that means. I'll attach a screenshot.
The Truck is completely stock with factory exhaust and EGR, no tunes.

Reason: Extra info
On the vgt readings. When they stick on 85% or 15% normally means your turbo is dirty and sticking. You can try oil additives to try to loosen up.
I would suggest pulling turbo for cleaning and check for pitting and cracks on your uniring. If all looks good just clean real good and put some anti seize on before you put back together. Clean oil definitely helps with keeping turbo clean. Additives help. I don't use them but that's me. Good luck.
What your readings when your driving. And you right it is a command position. But 3 min is a long time. When I had problem like that I cleaned and reset turbo and havent seen 85 or 15 since. 65 70. Down to about 25 30. Runs great.
It is possible your vgt solenoid is going bad too ,could pull it and test it. There are vidios on that. Tech files have a lot of good info on that and other preventative measures for your turbo.
Awesome, thanks for the advice, I have to pull it out for an EGR delete here soon anyways. It was sweeping normally yesterday, only 25,000 miles on The new turbo but my EGR has been shooting up so it's possibly clogged up.
