I finally made posting Guru... without even noticing it
Guess I've climbed as far as you can climb up that ladder then huh?
Now maybe I'll be co-webmaster right ? hehe j/k
Anyways...
Just thought Id post and say that I love this site I've tried to help as many people as possible, and I appreciate the great information from people, and the attitude of this site.
Heres to another 1000 posts
Im closing in myself. I have been with FTE for 4+ years (remember the email digests we used to get before the message board system?? I do) even though it only says 2002. I think there is a different title for 5k posts, but dont quote me on that.
...so obviously one graduates from an "elder user" to a "posting guru" when you've posted 1000 posts...but where are the other points where your status changes, and what are the stages? Can anybody point me to where I'd find that information?
I've really only been here since 2002... Right before 2003 started.
But in little less than a year Ive learned a lot, nearly completed restoration on my truck (which I knew only body work and some mechanics at the beginning)
but now Im doing pretty good with it..
5k posts? That isnt even a goal for me, Im just here to share knowledge lol
It isn't the sheer number of post that Dennis has that amazes me. It's the number of posts he has where the content is only there to help. None of the content has anything in it to belittle, or purposefully offend, Maybe that, "alot", I mean, er, "a lot" problem he has, but other than that....I don't know if I can say that about anyone else on this board - moderators included. Everyone has his/her bad days, but Dennis seems to shoulder his exceptionally well.
