New member with new F250 on order. Would like your advice on a Bug Shield for front of hood.
Would like the type with a little upturn on back edge to deflect airflow up and over the windshield
thanks

Don’t be fooled by that edge curl. It’s not enough to cause airflow to go up and over the cab. In fact I have compared them years ago and took more windshield hits with one with curved edge as if it directed things dead center of windshield. I have a normal style now and love it.
I don't think many of them actually do much as far as deflecting bugs away from the windshield. My purpose is to keep the leading edge of the hood from stone chips or dents. That's why I always use a stick on AVS Aeroskin. Through winters and dozens of car washes they've never come off. Removal would prove to be very difficult so I just let them go at trade in time.
I have the factory Hood Protector I ordered from the factory..It has been a lifesaver..for my hood and windshield.. Great Inexpensive investment..looks good..no stones/ nor heavy bugs..would do it again in a heartbeat

Where I live ...we have dump trucks galore..that do not understand the term mud flaps/material covers...its like dodgem cars first thing AM on the outerbelt
No one enforces the guidelines established for material hauling

I second the AVS type. I have had several and they work great. The stick on one I have now was from the dealer and has the “Super Duty” on it.
If you're into bug shields that have an upturn at the back edge to better redirect airflow, find one designed to send air over the windshield. This way, it keeps your windshield cleaner and could even boost aerodynamics a bit, which might give you a tiny improvement in fuel efficiency.
I’ve only been seeing the flat matte textured on in this style for 23+
which I don’t like. Wish they had it in the gloss black to see I think it would be better
I'm OK with the matte textured but I'm still undecided as to whether I'll put one on my 2023 yet. I kind of like the stamped Super Duty on the hood with no contrasting letter inserts in it.
But checking RealTruck it doesn't appear that the Aeroskin II would work for me anyway. Apparently not made for Tremor. But I read over on the Tremor forum that folks have installed the same shield that works on any other Super Duty.
