I got the P0171 and P0174 error messages, I checked and tightened all the vacuum hoses and reset the codes and so far they have not come back. although I have not driven the truck much since; next step, if the code come back is to clean the MAF sensor.
Now my real question, While checking hoses, I came upon this hose that comes from the driver's side wall above the wheel well, next to the air intake and seems to be blocked and going nowhere. Can some one tell what this is and if this is normal? I have attached 2 photos, in one you can almost make out a part number. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Looks like the fused jumper harness on the cruise control deactivation switch, and I think that's the old style. There is a recall for that part if that's the original. The newer harness is smaller. Notice where it plugs into the master cylinder.
