I also believe there is a script Ford logo on it. Not sure about Ford but you could get a factory installed radio in a Chevy pickup in 1963. Seems like that by '63 the major mfgs should have been installing radios at the factory (but perhaps not).
Might be a day or two before I can get some pics but I will get some up either in this thread or the one I created.
I'd love to see the pics to better understand layout and dimensions, Erik. Much appreciated!

Correct radio for a ‘63 F100 is a Bendix 32BT.

6 sides of the radio - sans front cover (which is now back in the truck).

The only markings I find are on the Bendix 2N257 MIL transistor; which is both time period correct and used throughout much of their product line.

There was something stuck to the bottom of the radio chassis at some point. (Perhaps a mfr sticker?) I've checked under dash and its not there so whatever it was has been lost to the sands of time...

No embossing anywhere that I can find. Maybe I'll take it apart this afternoon and see if there are any internal clues.

That’s not a 1963 F100 radio

1962 (22BT) and 1963 (32BT) supplements I have say to look to the 1961 (12BT) manual. While it does look like a good factory cutout, Ford engineering doesn't mention any other radios. But, I do note your truck has a DSO of 721161 making it a special order. Perhaps that radio was part of that order.

What advantage does this possible Falcon/Comet radio have over the correct truck radio? Neither has push buttons.

If someone wanted a Falcon/Comet radio in lieu of the truck radio, they'd probably want the push buttons that the deluxe radio had.

Good Evening,
Attached are a couple shots of the radio and speaker. I could not see a FoMoCo (or FOMOCO) logo on it like everything else on the truck seems to have. Might want to ignore all the dirt and grime, sorry I still need to give it a good scrub.
