Just thought I would say thanks much for all the information and encouragement from this group.
The company that I worked for 16 years decided that I was no longer needed in March.
I sort of understood their decision since my client was a company that was sold 4 times in 16 years.
The latest new managers decided they did not need me as a consultant, which was a $2M loss per year to my old company. A month after my dismissal, my old company let go 4 of 5 persons I supervised.
Any way, the company vehicle was gone and the new job is 38 miles from my home, so the Ford got traded in for a vehicle with better economics.
I have been on other forums for other vehicles, and you guys are the best in technical and plain savviness.
