Fuel tank selector valve
I need some help. My 1986 F250 460 will not switch tanks. Could someone tell me where the selector valve is located. My truck has a manual fuel pump. Also when refuelling the gas keeps gushing out of the tank. Could that be a vent and if so where is that located??

The switching valve is on the driver's side frame rail, approx under the door area on the inside of the frame.
If you are having trouble filling the tank at the station, you need to check the vent hose inside the fill hose. There is a smaller pipe inside the large fill pipe, and if this pipe is dislodged or someone has taken it out, that can cause the problem you are having.

The fuel lines on the valve are a male nipple with a bump or ridge made into it. The lines themselves are female with a o-ring inside. They slide up on the smooth male part on the valve and then a horseshoe keeper slides over the female line fitting and this locks it, since the horseshoe will be behind the bump or ridge. The horseshoe looks like the picture below, you just take a small screwdriver and pry it out and pull it out completely, then the fitting will slide off.

Horseshoe clips
I am going to replace my fuel tank selector valve . I got the new valve but would like to.have a few extra hose clips available just in case. Does anyone know if they are available and do they have a parts number ??

Can you take a picture of the intake with out the carb and the bottom of the new carb?

Carb and adaptor
I am going to remove the EGU adapter off the manifold. Edelbrock recomends a 1" adapter and then the the carb. I needed to know weather my manifold. Is a square bore or spread bore manifold so I can get the right adapter. I want to have everything I need before I start removing the carb. It's a 1986 F250 460. Any help would be appreciated.
