Missing Brake Hose Brackets
1) Does anyone have a picture of how the brake lines are secured on their truck so I know what I'm looking for?
2) What's my best option for securing the brake lines if the brackets are indeed missing? The hose is flexible and meant to move, but it's probably best to not have the hard lines rattling around.
Appreciate any help you can provide.
About the clip placement... I thought the same thing you're saying about the clips going on the opposite side of the hole in the frame. I can see where the clips are supposed to interface with the hose. The problem is, there is only about a 1/16" of the location where the clip interfaces with the hose that actually makes it thru the frame, and the clips are thicker then that.
Maybe I should be beating on it more to get it to fit. Or maybe the rust build up is causing the fit up issue. Guess I just thought an actual angle bracket (attached to the frame with a hole in it for the hose) existed based on pictures I saw online; see below.

Your brake line setup looks the same as mine (stock 1994 F250) except for the bracket. NOTE: all of these pics are of the drivers side. The first pic below shows the stock setup (the line going to the MC has been cut and wrapped in paper towel). The second pic is of the bare frame, and the third shows the bracket mounted to the frame (bracket is threaded, bolt head is inside frame). The fourth pic shows the bracket from the side. The brackets are side-specific because the tab (holds the bracket in place because there is only one bolt holding the bracket) that goes into the frame are both on the rear side of the bracket. Hope I'm not too late to help.
