Diff/transmission pairing for '64
So I acquired a '64 F100 with 4 speed manual, purchased new by my great grandfather, and have decided I may as well throw my lifes savings at it. Current issue is the rear end, it has a Dana 44 (I believe) with 4.11 that needs some work and both brakes are in need of repair. I'm looking to swap to a Ford 9" with 3.54 or similar, hopefully a complete axle assembly. Here's my question; I've found a 1965 parts chassis with a 9" for $150 that has 3 speed trans and IL6, but the owner does not know the ratio and is unwilling to check, it's about 4 hours away. Was there a "normal" diff ratio that would have come with a truck of this sort?

9" axle ID tag located at approx. 5 o'clock under one of the studs/nuts that retain the carrier (pumpkin) to the housing. By now, many of these tags are missing.
9" with 3 M/T ratio would likely be 3.50, 3.70 or 3.89. // 3.25 common 9" ratio with A/T
Note: If it's a Dana rear axle, it has Limited Slip and all Dana's have an inspection cover. The F100 9's from this era do not have Limited Slip and there no inspection cover on any 9.
