Does any one know where the wire that is marked [I] on the voltage regulator goes and what the [I] stand for?
Trying to wire up a charging system.
Thanks
Brewster
If you have an idiot light in the dash for the alternator, then the "I" hooks to it. If you don't have an idiot light, but an amp guage, then the "I" is not connected to anything.

Thanks If that's all it is that great . What I did was took all the wiring harness with voltage reg. The only wire I had to hook up was the heavy wire to the solenoid with fuse link in it. It should work now right? Only thing is how does the ALT get power for the feild?? Is it through the regultor?
thanks
