Hello. I am just asking around about peoples opinions/ experiences with performance chips. I have 2003 F-350 V10 6.8L so if anyone has had any good luck with chips in this truck or others and recommend a certain one let me know! Thanks!

Site sponsor 5Star Tuning is the go-to shop for some pretty sweet custom tunes for the V-10. Chips are old school, they will set you up with a handheld SCT tuner and whatever custom tunes will work best for your rig based on its mods and your typical useage. I think the current tuners can hold up to ten custom tunes, I have 5 tunes on my device, it takes about 3 minutes to change tunes and is very simple to do. I have the 87 Octane Economy, Tow and Performance and the 89 Octane Tow and Performance tunes, most of our miles are logged towing our 12K TT so the 89 Perf tune is whats loaded most of the time. The tunes will deliver a small bump in engine output ( the stock injectors can only deliver so much fuel) but the improvement in transmission shift strategy is worth the cost of the tune in my opinion, so much better especially if towing. I have not ran the stock tune in years!
I wouldn't worry about the small power bump from the new tunes hurting the trans, these aren't diesels that can see ridiculous power increases from a tune.
I have the SCT turner and it's on it's 3rd truck It's been on a 7.3 / 6.0/ 6.7 . When getting a new rig return the old to stock and download the tune for the new rig into the SCT. You'll find trans tunes with the engine tunes. You can also fix speedo error very simply by measuring tire height and plug in the number. Not sure how many tuners can be reused but the SCT can.

Sorry, didn't see that small but important detail, the truck in question is a Diesel.
We have experience in tuning (sports) cars, if you know what you're doing the outcome is great.
