460 7.5L vs newer 6.2L

I've seen a stock 460 dyno chart but can't seem to come across it at this point.
For comparison (and take these with a grain of salt, as there is probably dyno inconsistencies between the two). Also not an apples - apples, as the 460 chart is for a carb'ed motor, but it should be in the ballpark more or less.
Carb'ed smog 460, only mods were "The only modifications to the engine/drivetrain are as follows:
“street” level shift kit
home made headers with about 23" tubes, not all equal length, but I tried
it had 3" exhaust to the axle with dual 3" cat converters." going through a C6 trans
vs a 5 star dyno with a tune (look at the "stock" lines for reference)

If you are eating cams on a 6.2 than you need to revisit your maintenance schedule or change the type of oil you are using. If you are using Ford spec oil and changing it at 5,000 miles you can run this engine as hard as you want without any camshaft problems to well over 300,000 miles.
That’s weird when your trucks are the only ones that are having issues, sounds like an in house check up is in order.I Run a 17’ 350 with 4:30 rear end and I’m pulling 10k or better daily and I have 42K on it now and no issues. Guess I got lucky!

Or you just haven't driven enough. You gotta admit, 42,000 miles doesn't exactly demonstrate a bulletproof engine that will last for ages. It might be a bit different if you were at 442,000 miles.

The 6.2 is pretty stout. You can plan 250-300k miles if you want.
Even if they break they are cheap to work on.
More than enough power for most applications.
