I am curious, why does it seem that my truck stock took off from a stop way better than my truck deleted on any setting? Does anyone else have that issue? I have been looking here and there and don't really see anything so I am wondering if its just a fluke in the tuning?

I just have the race pipe in there. I am running GH SOTF tuning. I never would have thought the 5" would have better throttle response? Why would that help? Seems to me the that my back pressure is down since i am deleted. Could that have something to do with it?

Now the race pipe or a straight 4" has a better throttle response off the line sorry for any misunderstanding on that I believe more back pressure you have a faster response it spools up the Turbo sooner I'm sure if I'm incorrect someone woke set me straight.
It makes sense soooo maybe i should look into adding a muffler?
I have 5 inch all the way back and it will throw your head back in your seat. Much faster off the line then stock. Tyrant tune in mine. That goes for every tune I have from them.

It's definitely the tuning. After deleting I had to change the way I drive. I would spin the tires nearly every time I set off. Not tire smoke spinning, but a quarter turn or half turn before it would get going.
A lot of reasons could be the case, but tuning is the main reason. LBF (Low boost fueling) will cause this. If they have the fuel pulled back till the charger gets spinning, it will definitely feel less “peppy” off the line than a stock truck. I’d get with your tuner and see how they have the tunes set up.
Also, some guys like for the throttle valve to be unplugged and some don’t care. Maybe check that too.

Never heard of the throttle valve valve being unplugged. What’s that supposed to do?

Some tuners required it to be unplugged after tuning the truck. In those instances, the truck wouldn’t have great throttle response and be laggy. Just an easy thing to try.
