I used to work/fly/gun on Russian Helicopters....all in metric from day one. So Kilogram Force (KGF)/Square Centimeter (CM2) ='s PSI, newton meters ='s Ft lbs, Kilo Grams ='s in lbs....always fun when you add in a 2 " long "dog bone" torque adapter straight out. A US o2/nitrogen tank is standard/common thread and a Russian fitting is metric. I had a massive conversion book I made...
Ever have to do and read a Mi-17 main rotor rig check? You have to convert the inner degrees scale into a minuets calculation or vice versa depending on what side of the trans scale you were reading....PITA. How about all the markings in Russian Cyrillic Alphabet, they have more letters than we do.There are 33 letters in the Russian Alphabet: 10 vowels, 21 consonants, and 2 signs (ь, ъ).
If the circuit breaker breakers were not over laid, no telling that you might flip off if you translated it wrong. I'd rather go back to working on them than figure out that parts manual you decipher.
Yes this does not have ANYTHING to do with SC window latches AT ALL. lol
I can't seem to help anyone, I looked and it's a fixed window. I thought they all had latches.
Yes it's in eastern Oregon. I really hate to send it to the crusher but after 45 years it's about time for it to go. it's a shame it has 100% original paint zero rust and only a few dings on the rear roof line from hauling pipe. this is one of the pickups my dad bought new and is still on the ranch. frame is in great shape too but the box is hammered.

If it's on a ranch, why do you want to get rid of it? I wouldn't think that space would be a problem.
it's not really a problem but when you add it to the other parts rigs I have it's just time to clean up a little. I've robbed all the parts I could use on my 4x4's so what's left is useless to me. I kind of figure if a super cab is this unpopular now it's probably going to be years if ever anyone wants it around here anyway.
I've been trying to give it away for several years with no serious lookers. there aren't many super cab 4x4's around and in this area very few people will restore a 2wd so the interest just isn't there. you can buy a rust free driving 2wd super cab for a couple thousand bucks so who's going to restore one.
It's not a big deal but I just feel bad scrapping it. if it hadn't been in the family since it was new I probably wouldn't care at all.
I crushed a perfectly good super cab a few years back for the same reason. It was in great shape, but nobody wanted it. Shame for sure! I also got rid of at least two sets of super cab windows, with all hardware. Oops!
Well you and it are on Oregon.......I am in Missouri.....well my truck and trailer are anyway. So that counts me out as far a just coming over and getting it. I would like to have a solid condition SC to try and make it in to a modern day "ext cab". Meaning with the back part of the extra cab open like suicide doors.

Well, thanks for looking. Looks like I'm going to have to run the junk yard and take a look. Nothing on the internet.
