Okay so I have an 02 F-250 with a 6.8, truck has been used an abused over the last 5 years and won't keeps coming back for more. I've had a misfire issue for awhile now and a couple new issues not sure where to start looking. I have had a left bank lean code but cleared it and hasn't been back for months 😒 the truck has ran rich at varying degrees since I bought it never thought much of it until misfire issues because it has no cat. So hook it to a friend's scanner and the truck doesn't even notice it's missing left fuel bank readings are inconsistent at best. Also on a side note can a bad brake pressure sensor drain the battery?
YES about the brake pressure sensor - DISCONNECT IT NOW! There was a recall a long time ago for it, and it would burn the truck (and anything around it) to the ground. Check the switch for resistance between both terminals and ground, and if there is anything less than a few milliohms, change it.
Check for vacuum leaks, the infamous PCV elbow at the throttle body being the first place to check.
Okay pcv elbow was definitely an issue that and battery was really weak idk how it's been starting other than a strong alternator lol, misfire still strongly present but consistent have coils and plugs ordered. Pcv elbow just went to local are and got a 3/8 90 hose Barb.
