Grade % display way off

Grade % display way off

The grade display that is on the towing and off road screens on my dash is off by a factor of about 2. If I am climbing a 6% grade then it will show 3%. Anyone else have this issue?

The offroad display is in degrees, not %. a 6% grade is 3.43 degrees.

Yes, I dropped the rear end of my F-350 and now it shows me climbing 1 deg when on the level.
Don't know how to fix it. No big deal I guess.

100% grade is a 45 degree angle or 12-12 rise/run.
The road signs are in % grade. The dash is in degrees of angle

I found my garmin gps (I think it is model RV-770)
has a percent grade option in the setup
it shows up in the lower right corner of the display
