Maybe a Christmas truck.

Does anyone know if Ford got smart and put a TPMS/Trailer Cam connector in the bed next to the trailer connector with the 5th wheel prep? Or will we still need to buy the after market adaptor plate and cut a hole in a new truck?

Not 100% sure yet but I was told the prep harness will reach both places, and everything should be in the kit to make it work at either spot. I already have everything on my RV from my 2017, but went ahead and order the kit again in the order just to make sure my truck would have everything needed to make it all work. Didn't want to chance it !!!

I certainly hope so, or I will drill a hole/ or tell dealer to on prep when the truck gets in. I will not be plugging in in 2 spots. What they should do is have it so the harness goes to bed plug and bumper, that would be super smart.

Just ordered a 450 last night. I'm hoping I'll see it by end of January. My dealer who is very open and willing to show the order screen says with the holidays I might be lucky to get into mid December build frame.

I ordered the trailer cam/TPMS kit with my F-450 but would like to get a set of trailer TPMS sensors now as the tires are being remounted on new wheels on my trailer. I called my local Ford dealer and all they list is the TPMS kit, they don't have a part number for individual sensors. Has anyone tried to buy individual sensors?

I believe my kit came with 6 sensors. I went looking for my extras to see if they have a part number on them. SORRY I can't find them

Thanks for looking. My dealer's parts guy made a call today and got the part number for the individual sensors. They will be here tomorrow morning. I will post the part number when I get it.
My understanding is that the 2019 kit came with 4 sensors but the 2020 kit comes with 6, but I might be wrong. They are not cheap, $85 each with a discount so if you do find them, it might be good to hang on to them for spares.

My order was put in yesterday, it has a priority 10. I hope that doesn't mean Hurry Up and Wait. Just want it before 01/02/2020, my PCO last day.

Your pco is still gine as long as you ordered it within time frame. My 3000 ran out Oct 1st 2018 and I ordered Sept 29th and when the truck came in November it still worked. It's called incentive protection.

Is this term what the Ford dealer will recognize?
