Hello all,
I've used these forums for awhile since I've owned a few Fords through the years but I figured I might as well go head and make an account. I recently purchased a 1999 extended cab long bed F250 with the 7.3. It's pretty much my dream truck. I wanted the quad cab but I couldn't pass up the deal I got. As of now I'm calling her Black Nasty, she's had 2 owners and has 92K miles. The first owner only had her for about two and a half years and the second owner had her ever since. She was in Maryland since September of 1999 and now she's in North Carolina.
For myself, I'm in the Air Force. I joined in 2005, did ten years active duty, and been a reservist ever since. Currently stationed at Seymour Johnson AFB in NC. I'm definitely here for advise on maintenance, troubleshooting, and eventually mods. I look forward to digging in and learning about diesels with it being my first. I currently have another 99 F250 with the 5.4L but it threw a rod earlier this year.
