I have an 85 f250 with a c6 trans cruise control worked going to town one day and on the way home later that day my cruise control would not thank you for your time and help
if that fuse is good, check the cable where it connects to the throttle cable at the injector pump. it may have become disconnected from the shaft.
another thought, check that the brake lights are not staying on with key on.
Thank you for all your help I always thought the speed control was on the horn fuse I'll check the fuse l'll check that tonight if I get back in time I'll check that cable as well
It wasn't the fuse sadly what would be the next most likely place to check
IF you have already checked the other things mentioned ... then check the Slip Rings and the Switch for correct operation.
check the connector on the Servo for corroded pins, check the Feed Back pot and the Vent Solenoid and the Vac Charge Solenoid, verify the speed sensor is working.
Did it ever Work ? IF so how well and did it fail while in use ?

I'll check all that I can tomorrow and it use to work great no issues on the way into for me town is 55 miles each way on the way home that evening it wouldn't work and has been that way ever since
here are your Test procedures..... BE Careful when testing see the Caution Notes so you don't Fry the Amp...
Very Seldom have I seen the Amp Failed, many times it is the Connector on the Servo where the issue is (aside from vacuum lines or mechanical linkage)

Thank you when it comes to vacuum leaks what's the easiest way to test for them

with a Vacuum Gauge and a MityVac hand pump, the procedure is the last 2 statements of the PDF.... IF you have Good Brakes then your Vacuum is probably fine.
IF the dump valve on the brake pedal is leaking or IF that Vacuum Hose leaks then the Servo cannot build Vacuum to pull on the Throttle cable...... so you disconnect the Dump Line on the servo and apply Vacuum to it and watch for leak down.
