has anyone installed a timing chain set ???
need help with install of timing chain set on a 1995 f150 302
what do i need to do and do i need to drop the oil pan and what seals do i need to buy and what type or make of timing gears. and what gaskets and made by whom ???

dont need to drop the pan, if u get a timing chain gasket set, it will come with the front half of the pan gaskets. basically everything comes off the front, the three bolts holding the left and the three holding the right side brackets, the pulley, and u will need a balancer puller, sometimes the nut is stubborn, stick a screwdriver in the flywheel to keep the motor from spinning, make sure u take it apart at tdc if u get confused it will help, then pull the front cover, when yu get to it there is one bolt holding the top gear on, it is recommended u use lock tight, but i never had problems the time i didnt. otherwise aside from the obvious like hoses and draining the fluids thats about it, its a big puzzle. i am not too crazy about them double rollers or cloyes but have had no problems, i like dyna gear, others may beg to differ, but to me its all name brand. i liked what was convenient,
