I found this 1966 ford f100 pickup on a abandoned farmstead outside of olmitz Kansas
I talked to the old guy who owned the truck and he was gonna scrap it a week before I bought it I’m the second owner of this truck all the parts are there I paid 200$ for the truck and got a clean title with it
Nice find but I think you overpaid, I'll give ya 225.00 to bail you out , 'cause I'm a nice guy.....
Im gonna have to pass I’m only 17 and I’ve been chasing a truck with those factory options and what’s funny is I have 4 Ford’s from 1960-1966 that are all factory automatics
Looks like a nice original unmolested truck. Great find.
Except for the engine someone took it apart and never put it back together and it has no oil in it and it’s locjed but I have a running 390 I’m gonna drop in
This is Awesome! I grew up in Great Bend and my grandparents, Ervin and Monica Schneider, had a farm just outside of Olmitz. I learned to drive on his 1966 F250 Camper Special when I was around 12 years old. I just had it hauled up to Minnesota so I could get it up and running again.
Anyway, just thought it was cool that someone else on this forum knew where Olmitz was and that you found the same year of truck as mine. Best of luck on your project.
