The 5.0L is a tad lighter than the 3.5L eco which just who robust that little engine was built.

It's not the basic engine that is heavier, but the weight of turbos, intercooler, and extra intake/exhaust/cooling plumbing more than makes up for the loss of 2 cylinders. This is not saying that the 3.5 is not durable given the power that Ford is getting out of it in the Raptor, etc.

Thanks guys. I know of guys that the only difference in trucks were the engines, then level kits, identical kits, were installed. The guy with the 5.0 got 1/4" more lift out of it. He could only figure the 5.0 was lighter.

Just talking to my source about the Bronco, those leaked photos are the real deal.
Also, as far as power, the 2.7 is a go. But, there's something else being talked about, the 3.5EB. It's possible it could show up in a Raptor style Bronco, don't know if 3.5HO or not, the regular 3.5 would be plenty, but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Now, we didn't talk about this, but if there's talk of Raptor style Bronco, how about a Ranger Raptor? Cool, I say.

ANY Ford that uses the Raptor styling will be a hit, but that's just my thoughts!!
