I have a 1988 Ford E-150 Club Wagon, and the one thing that is bothering me is that the king pins seem to wear just as fast as my tires. Is there such an animal as heavy duty king pins. It just wears the tires too much for my wallet. All and any help will be very greatful. Thanks in advance!

I don't know of any heavy-duty kingpins, but there has got to be something else wrong to wear out kingpins fast like that. Have you had it checked out by a shop?
I assume all the usual maintenance items are done? Alignment, wheels are balanced, shocks OK, lubricate the suspension regularly.
Often forgotten is lubricating the other components which require removing the wheel... Wheel bearings, Spindle bearings etc.
When you replace the kingpin, have they checked the mating components to make sure they are "true" and don't have any damage? Are they torqued properly? Some mechanics have a nasty habit of just using the air wrench and not torquing to spec.
I am no suspecsion expert so this is about all I know to look for.
