OK experts, I need some wisdom. I have a 2007 F-350 with 228,500 miles. I live in Mobile and the humidity is very high. I have noticed that on my windshield, I am getting condensation on the outside of the windshield like I have the defrost on. Any suggestions? Do I have a leak in the A/C System? HELP?

Reason: Info left out.
I have the same issue here in Houston and it is due to some "leaking" of the a/c discharge coming out of the defrost vents. Usually first thing in the mornings it affects mine.
Usually you can attribute it to some lack of sealing in the system causing a bit of "blowby" out of the upper vents.
I run the wipers intermittently until all the humidity sorts itself out. Usually about 3 miles down the street.
Unless I'm missing something, this is completely normal. Warm humid air is hitting your cold windshield causing condensation. Just like a beer bottle sweating.
Well, several years ago, I was having problems with the A/C blowing 1/2 out the defrost and 1/2 out of the vents. It gets really hot down here. Anyway, I had to get the "Y" pipe replaced and I assume the batteries were unhooked to make room to get to the issue. When I picked the truck back up, that problem was not happening any more. I think it "reset" and didn't blow out the defrost any more. I do think the cool air is leaking out the defrost. I am thinking if I un-hook the batteries again, it might reset. I was talking with a mechanic and asked him the same question and he gave me the RCA dog look and told me that wasn't possible. Any thoughts?

This is correct. It is COMPLETELY normal for some airflow to come out the defroster vent even when the outlet is selected to be elsewhere. This is done on purpose to prevent condensation in the INSIDE of the windshield.
If the condensation on the outside of the windshield bothers you, just nudge the temperature up a bit at a time until the condensation goes away.
