In my driveway sits my new 2019 F350 Lariat 6.2 with 28 miles on the clock. This is A LOT smoother riding than my old '97 F250 HD, I hope one day I'll learn to work the dashboard, the thing's like a spaceship to me right now! I hope this is as trouble free as the 2013 Tacoma I traded in. It sure is nice to get back into a big truck!

Reason: Correction of weight class.
Congratulations on your new F-250! I think I will jump back in one next month.
Whoops! I made a mistake! It's a F350!...it was late, I was worn out from working all day and then doing the deal. The 350 was $1K more so I went with that. Only having it a few days now I have to say IT'S GREAT!!! I plan to drive it as much as possible while under warranty then use it normally like when I need to do truck stuff. I didn't go for any extended warranties, I figured if I added all the money saved on the extended warranties I've turned down past and present it should take care of whatever could happen to the truck...hopefully.
I ordered mine to get the 4:30 axle. Dealer screwed up and ordered a dually. "Gave me" a extended warranty to compensate, Cant complain except for leaking rear axle seals (both sides) one was replace under powertrain and the other under extended.
Its my daily driver plus my tow rig and does a good job at both. Good luck i think you will love it.

My old 99 dually was leaking like yours and it turned out to be an insect made a nest inside the rearend vent hose and the pressure built up in the rearend and screw up the seals..
But, to the original Poster... Nice truck !! You will love the transmission.. lots of different ways to use it.. I use the "M" went towing when I get to hills.. (don't like the "tow/haul" mode).
Yeah, I'm like a little kid at Christmas right now, I just ordered rear wheel well liners from Advance Auto ($90 +/-) and am deciding between spray in liner or bedrug. I'm also looking at high top camper shells since I've had them on every truck I ever owned. Was going to go with another Leer 122 but then ran across Jason/Ranch Trek which looks pretty much the same. Funny thing they are both made in the same town in Indiana, I think its probably the same plant bit I'm still looking that up. Here's a shot of it in her new home.
