I got a husky and I'm very happy with it. Best accessory I bought for it was a $6.00 attachment for my dremel so I could sharpen the chain on the saw. Better than paying 8.00 per time to sharpen then stick it in the dirt to pay 8.00 again. Also by sharpening my own chain I could grind the rakers down to get a more aggressive chain.

stihl and husky deffinately rock even though i don't own one. i have a cheap poulan that dad bought at quality farm and fleet before they went out of business. i don't cut much wood, just enough to heat the shop and clean up around the house and farm
it starts easy but leaks some oil when it sits, common i guess for a poulan. it was cheap and gets the job done so i guess thats all that matters for no more than i use it. just my 2 cents worth.

371 Husky (70cc)for small work, notches, general saw work
394 Husky (95cc)for bigger stuff, cutting slabs
3120 Husky (120cc)with 37" bar for the mill arh! arh! arh!

We built one house the logs were so big I had to use the 3120 by hand to make some cuts, not real big fun when you're trying to be precise...

Every Stihl I've picked up seems to vibrate more

Now I just have to get an electric husky for inside work, that 2 stroke exhaust gets hard on the lungs

I wish I had an excuse to buy a 3120. I have seen several new ones on ebay last winter go for around $800-$900. In the store they run more like $1200. I have owned a couple of older Huskys , a 41 and a 51, both good saws. I have aslo used several of my friends Huskys. He is a carver and that is all he has used forever. The only problem is they all seem to leak baroil. Some of them leave a big puddle overnight.
Has any one had any experience with the Dolmar? I got mine from a Husky shop. He is also a dealer for other brands including Dolmar. I was looking for a bigger saw to run the Alaskan mill and he had this one as a demo and I got it for half price. I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I can't find anyone who says anything bad about them and a couple people have told me they invented the chainsaw( Dolmar-Sachs) I had never heard of them before, but I trust the dealer I got it from and he said they were good.

Mine leaks too. I am going to have it fixed, if possible, before the warranty runs out.

willowbilly3, I wouldn't consider myself a flat lander, but seeing somebody with a five foot bar on their saw would scare the crap out of me also. Unless I was the one weilding it.
