Carrier bearing replacement
I am replacing my carrier bearing on my 78 F150 Supercab, which got destroyed when my motor mounts went. In the kit with the new bearing there is a spacer which was not on the driveshaft with the old bearing. Do I need to use this and if so where does it go? On the motor side of the driveshaft or the rear axle side?
