Looking for info on "Texas Explorer"
I have acquired a 1976 F100 Texas Explorer, extcab long bed, originally had a 6 cylinder auto in it. It is blue with white striping in the body line with "Texas Explorer at the rear of the truck" I was wondering if this is a rare truck? or not? I have used the search with no results. Thanks for any help.

its white lettering in the body groove in front of the rear markerlight. The only other badging on the truck is the F100 on the front fenders (don't know about tailgate didn't have one when I got it) The truck is at my parents house in Texas right now, I originally acquired it for parts for my 77 F250HD 4x4. But I want to make sure its not a special truck before I strip what I need off of it. (done that before) I'll try to get some pics of it to post, but it's in kinda rough shape (Good Body, engine, tranny, front clip, are sitting in the bed.)
