What are you working on? F100, F250 or? 2WD or 4WD? A/T or M/T?
I did a similar thing with mine. I have a 65 F250 4WD, and it has a custom power steering setup using donor parts from a 78 (installed by PO). The turn signal switch in the steering column hub was present but not connected to anything. The clamp-on turn signal lever was not working, either, so I figured that if I was gonna have to do wiring work, I'd get the switch in the hub working. I took the wiring diagrams for the 65 and 78 and cross-referenced them. Fortunately, the truck's wiring harness wasn't too hacked up and I could identify the wires and match them to the functionally equivalent wires in the TSS based on the wire colors from the wiring diagrams. After cross-matching the wires, and a few tweaks, everything works: horn, turn signals, hazards, and brake lights. The diagrams for "Exterior lighting, turn signals, and horns" are available at Fordification.
