I have a 82F150 with ugly steel rims, what i want to know is if 90-96 F-series 5 bolt rims will work?? Also what year's did F-series come with the throwing star design crome dipped steel wheels.
Anyone have a part number for those??

Just about any pre 96 wheel will fit on your 82. If the "throwing star's" are the directionals with an offset slit in the (5) spokes, they were on late 90's models. Not sure of the exact years. They had a chrome "skin" over the steel wheel.
I put a set of Ford 7.5" alloys from a 95 on my 78 Bronco. They are forged wheels, only weigh 17 lbs each, and look very good on an older truck......
