N.D., Point taken. Thanks again. In other news, using MixerMan's technique I moved the truck out for the car show in town. Had an appointment that afternoon and couldn’t attend. However, I know the onlookers enjoyed seeing a big truck. The F250 looks like a younger brother. I did notice a considerable drag as the truck came out of the pole barn. Thought maybe the brakes were stuck. It wasn’t until later that evening I noticed the furrows in the gravel. These trucks are heavy too! Thanks again.

Most ebay sellers haven't a single clue what parts fit, even if they're NOS with part numbers listed.

Case in point: Cluck seller listed this: C6TZ-18813-A antenna for 1966 F100.

It's for a 1966/77 BRONCO!

I had my '54 F-750 water pump rebuilt by this company ( 279 OHV Lincoln )

Automotive Friction

They did a good job

Says 302/332 so I can only assume it will fit the 279
