2003 4wd with 196,000 miles. I’m getting some noise (clunking) over bumps. I’m assuming I need some new bushing here and there. Are there any that are
more common to replace than others? Recently had an alignment so I’m guessing it not ball joints or tie rods. I’m thinking sway bar. What’s the best way to check? Replaced some on a Jeep a few years back but that’s the extent of my experience.
What's the best way tp check the bushings? Long pry bar and check for movement? What about the leaf strings, do they have replaceable bushings in the ends?
Sway bar end links are usually the first suspension components to wear out on most vehicles, in my experience. They make a substantial amount of noise on the smallest road imperfections once they are worn (or outright broken).
