Help with output shaft

Got the extension housing off, now how do I get the output shaft off? I'm looking online, can't find any help!!!

Is this a transfer case or the tranny (items will be called different things --- tranny uses "extension", transfer case uses "rear retainer", "rear case", etc)?

It's the extension housing output shaft. But, after I posted this I remember I need a $140 tool
