Adding heated mirrors

If I wanted to add heated side mirrors to my 2011 xlt that did not originally have them do I need anything besides the mirrors and the hvac controls with a defrost button? I believe the extra lights would be plug and play but does that go for the heaters? Or do I need to write to the pcm with FORScan?
