glow plug question

OK. Gents,
I have a 2007 F-350 PSD with 227,000 miles. A few weeks ago, service engine soon light came on and I got it checked. #7 glow plug. I had it changed today while I was having other work done and for a little while, the light was off. Now it came back on. Should I have changed all glow plugs or just change the one. What could be causing this?
