With out it, Before I installed the genuine GPR, I tested my the system with no GPR, using a meter connected to the ground wire that is switched by the the PCM. So, I got it working first then installed the new GPR. I was investigating the 5v ref by pulling all the sensors that used 5v and getting the open resistance between the 5v and ground wire ( measuring at the PCM plug) , then I measured each sensor by plugging them one at a time back end and seeing what resistance reading each had and I didn't find anything that jumed out as an excessive load on the 5v circuit. so there was no smoking gun. So I was surprised. The only thing that I can guess is during the unplugging and re plugging there was a sensor connector that was not getting good contact.
