Who's done it? What does it sound like? I like a mellow sound, not obnoxious, of a V-8 with some aftermarket muffs. There's a couple of new(er) Mustangs around where I live that are just unbelievably loud. Stoopid loud.
I just wonder what the V-10 sounds like with a true dual exhaust and performance muffs on it. Probably help with the power a bit, huh?
I put a flo pro on a V10 I had years ago. It wasn't bad. Don't know that it increased performance any, but it wasn't obnoxious loud. Check out some videos of V10 exhaust reviews on youtube. Most mufflers tend toward annoying on these engines. The aeroturbine seems to be the one with the most support around here. With the one I have now I just left the stock muffler. It sounds fine to me, but I'm getting old
Some people have reasonable success with 2V V10s, but 3V V10s seem to only get annoying drones with any sort of exhaust swap. At least that's what I've read here.
Duals on a V10 = Horrible! There are a few around my area and sound like a backwards firing V6. I put a Jones 3030XL on mine and it sounds good...even get compliments from people that drive the other brands! No drone, but it does have some pop to it around 2200-2800 rpms. Before and after that particular rpm range, it is just a little louder than factory.
