I tried to install a new Neutral Safety Start Switch this morning, but the positioning of the rotating part of the switch on the shaft spline resulted in the switch in a position that can not be installed. This part should have been the correct part, but it appears not. Anyone run across this?
The rectangular holes should line up with the threaded holes in the bracketing.
Bingo! Thanks for the picture. I cleaned up my faulty one and set it against the purchased one. They are not the same. Wrong part.
I've since reviewed the website to find they show for my truck two different switches with no explanation that there are different parts available nor how to determine which is correct.
