So I was getting blinded by my audio display. I figured out how to adjust it way dimmer. In fact as dim as it goes. Then I set it to auto. I had it set equal to the speedo and gauges in front of me. Tonight I was getting blinded again. The brightness was still set at the dimmest possible. It was still on auto. However in order to get the sync brightness equal to the speedo etc. I had to go in and manually set it to night. What am I doing wrong here? Why would the snyc display not remain equal to the rest of the dash by default? Tell me I need to manually set the brightness every day?
I am kind of **** I guess about this but having part of the dash brighter than the rest distracts me and at night I like my dash very dim so it doesnt effect my night vision.
I had the same issues, switched it it GT theme with forscan and its white and black at night. You can give it a try without forscan, just toggle diagnostic mode and you can cycle through all the displays. You can also toggle diagnostic mode stay as a option on the screen and you can toggle at will between themes. They will reset at start unless hard programmed with forscan.
So when you say " reset at start" you mean no matter how I program my display it will default to something random instead of staying as I have chosen? Thats ridiculous considering the default is not equal to the remainder of the dash. All I want is the same brightness across my entire dash. Ridiculous not to have it at least default to equal. Left to auto the center display is at least 25% brighter that the gauges. Set to night it returns to the way I set it. Which is equal.
I hadnt planned on getting set up to enter Forscan yet but I guess I have no choice.
