If their goal was to make it literally look like an F150 then they hit the nail on the head.

Doesnt look very good, IMO. That long bed is the only thing that makes it look like it’s got any stature

I’m not a fan of the new grille and headlights. I’m not a fan of the 17-19 grille and headlights. Lol. The first time I saw the [ ford ] lights, I laughed. I just thought ford put LEDs brackets around a defective stamp. At that time, I drove a Ram. Don’t get me wrong, I have an 18 with the LEDs but still not a fan off the front ends.

Well, the new Chevy 2500HD should clarify what "defective" really looks like.

I grew up in a mopar family. We just always called the ford oval the defective stamp lol. The new Chevy wing or fang style front end is the worst design I’ve ever seen. Lol

I'm going to save myself some time and quote what you said. I thought the same.

Well, the nice thing about the 2020 grilles are that they are all appear to be interchangeable. The DRW grille offers the same SD look we expect to see, and I would probably default, to that one for my order. The plat and the Limited are both nice, but the rest are unacceptable. IMO, the DRW grille is the best looking front clip in the Super Duty series to date.

Love that DRW grill for sure but the platinum took a big step backwards.

Yes they will.

And they usually come out within a couple days before order banks open to a week or two later.

Seriously! Everyone's over here complaining that they "look the same there's no difference". For gods sake there is a difference! They are SIMILAR but not identical! And similar is expected and at least for me, accepted. If you look at a SD and don't think "that's a big freakin truck" then the issue is you! Yes I know the 2020's are supposed to be lower and yes I know they took styling cues from the F150 (I guess) but without any question they are different trucks with different looks and features. Of course this is not speaking to personal style opinions of which I have plenty, but just general outward appearance. So thank you ForCal for putting them side by side.

Edit: that probably came off a little strong but I hear/see this all the time and can't understand it, I think they look completely different - guess I vented a little much?! I too am a little uncertain about the 2020 grill selections, but not because I think they look like F150's.
