Morning folks, welcome back to the work week. They're already off and running messing with IT issues, so I suspect a computer meltdown at some point today.

Welcome back to the work week, Gang! My oldest and I topped off the weekend with a drum corps show last night in Elizabeth. The Blue Devils were incredible!
How did the Bull do this weekend, Bill? Hopefully today is drama-free for you.

Morning Jason. Got shut out of judging this weekend and didn't place - so no "5 years in a row" for me. Class was pretty equal top-to-bottom with one or two exceptions and it could have been anyone's ball game...just didn't bounce my way. I think some of it was that the same judge has seen the truck for now 3 straight years and this time I made no major visual changes, whereas a couple of equal trucks were new to the class for the first time. So - I think too familiarity bred some "contempt" to a degree...where those trucks were new and different and I was pretty much the same as last year. Still had fun, that's ultimately what counts.

Judging is a real crap shoot at most shows, and Carlisle is no different. I've already got the wheels turning for next year, so the truck will be a pretty different package than it was this past weekend.
Eh. I'm mildly disappointed only in the things I didn't do/get done due to time restrictions and what not. That truck, being what it is, had one hell of a run to place in class 4 straight years. Apparently not many pull that feat off, according to what a couple guys have told me.
Best part was how well it showed with the people milling around it and looking, and then two separate incidents of kids hanging out car windows to take rolling shot pictures of it on the way home. While that was not the safest thing in the world, it was still cool to have happen. Tells me it's a solid truck, and we'll be back to the top soon enough.

Good Afternoon everyone. had a nice busy weekend hauling about 700 pounds of yard waste and trees to the township yard waste place. had to do an oil change, which is great cause a 5 gallon bucket fits right under. But the last person to change the filter must of used an impact to put it on. i had to hammer a screw driver through it to get enough leverage on it to get it to budge. guess they have never heard of hand tight.
