Hello everyone. I’m new here and am in desperate need of help finding a part for my t89. The transmission has been out of my truck for almost a year and I can’t take it any more. First I had to locate a cluster gear and now there appears to be a part missing. In the attached diagram it’s number 354639-s. Thank you in advance for any help that can be offered.

Reason: Incorrect information
Sorry. I appreciate your help. It is a 1964 f-100 with a 262 and a 3 speed with t89b-148 cast into the side cover and t85c-1 in the case. My research for a cluster gear proved it to be a t89 because of the straight cut first gear. The t85 has a helical cut gear. Correct me if i am wrong. This transmission has been a nightmare for me.
So I contacted green sales and they confirmed they had 15 of the spacers. I ordered one and now a few weeks later it still hadn’t arrived. I called today and they said there was a mistake and they did not have any in stock. No fault of theirs, they did attempt to call me but we’re unable to reach me. So here I sit still lost. Are there anymore sources I can try. I’m very desperate for this part!!!

This is on ebay: 354639-S36 listing says it's for tractors, I do not know if it's the same.

When I get back home later I will check my Hollander. Surely with GM, Ford, Packard and AMC using the T-89 these parts may be out there. With a Warner number if the OP still can't find one I can check with a local former rebuilder. He has a host of parts he wants to get rid of... But really wants then to go as lot.

Studebaker also used it (I have a 1959/64 Studie parts catalog), don't know about Packard.
Sorry. Strike out on the Hollander.
Looks like you need item #11, which is listed as N/A
I won't be back to my shop until Sunday. Can check my Studebaker parts books if Bill doesn't beat me to it. Otherwise I'll have to dig to see if I have coverage for this era GM. Think AMC/Jeep used the T-89 until '66, I might have coverage there as well, same for IHC.
Correct, though the T85 and T86 were much more common. I'd bet Mr. Lime handled a few of these spacers on his move from South Bend to Hope.
Don't know who Lime is or where Hope is located. I do know that the Studebaker and Packard parts remained in South Bend for many years after Studebaker stopped making cars/trucks.

Studebaker/Standard Surplus/Newman-Altman/SASCO/Studebaker International history. The surplus inventory was moved from SB to Hope Indiana by the new owner (Lime) earlier this year.

I thought that Ed Reynolds (SI) bought SASCO .. I'm not currently an SDC member, but I am a member of the website.
I knew Ed and Jon Myer when both lived here in LA LA Land.
