This is great stuff. Now if then can launch the product at a price point that's consistent with current F-150 pricing and extend it's range to match that of the 3.5L.
I didn't see the vid on your link. They have it on popularmechanics.com and I think on wired. Pretty impressive, but I don't know how it relates to the real world. (I'm sure that they stopped at 1000 feet for a reason).
Was also pretty impressed with the tow strap -- where do you get the ones with the 1,000.000 pound rating?
edit: You'll really have to wait for it as the filter won't let it post despite the clinical term (vs. vulgar slang) used..... But if you search out people pulling things like helicopters, you'll find it.
That's mostly true---I've seen videos of a single man hand pushing a line of rail cars along, walking behind. Of course what they don't tell is the energy needed to begin that much weight rolling is H-U-G-E. Otherwise we'd not need those big diesel locomotives.
